Known as “The Oldest Summer Resort in America,” over the years Wolfeboro, NH has become a four-season destination. The picturesque downtown offers many locally owned shops and boutiques. Wolfeboro Students (grades 7-12) attend Kingswood Regional High School and adjacent Middle School. There are two elementary schools in town, Carpenter and Crescent Lake (K-6). As part of the Governor Wentworth Regional School District, students from five neighboring towns attend these schools. Wolfeboro is also home to Brewster Academy, a private college preparatory school on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.
